Maya + Ron's Baby Shower in PEOPLE Magazine

Recently I had the pleasure of photographing Baby in Bloom, the baby shower of Maya and Ron Artest - better known as Metta World Peace if you are a LA Laker's Fan. Maya is a professional model & actress who studies with my acting coach Lesly Kahn and I was thrilled to document her & Ron's special celebration honoring their first baby together. I first met Maya Ford in person at the premier of Ron's documentary - which is a must see! My husband Steve became Ron's older daughter's tennis coach after the three of us originally met at Elton's John's Oscar Party and we took a picture together. This all just goes to show the power in meeting people in the industry you work in and the various ways we can all support each other as we climb and grow in the field.
