Help Us Raise Funds for Fire Relief in California
California is our home. I grew up in the South Bay, spent my 20's chasing dreams in Hollywood & Studio City, and have experienced firsthand the magic this city holds. From the unmatched beauty of its nature to the endless opportunities it offers, Los Angeles is like no other place in the world.
But right now, my city is hurting. The fires that swept through Palisades and Encino have left so many feeling displaced, traumatized, and scared. People have lost homes, memories, and a sense of safety. And while the physical destruction is immense, the emotional impact runs even deeper.
On January 10, the 4th day of the Palisades Fires, I stood at Venice Beach and captured the hauntingly beautiful sky just hours before the fires expanded into Encino. At 4:55 PM, the sun painted an unforgettable scene, a stark reminder of the power of nature and the resilience of the human spirit. This is a continuation of my study of photographing a colored sunset sky.
I’m using my talent—the gift of photography—as a way to give back. I’m selling artwork and digital images of these moments, with proceeds going directly to the Los Angeles Fire Department . They’re doing incredible work to help those affected, providing support and resources to rebuild lives. However, what is need most are monetary donations as well as NEW items.
These photographs are more than just images; they’re tangible pieces of history. They commemorate this time and honor everyone touched by the devastation, whether physically or emotionally.
Together, we can stand by our friends and neighbors who’ve lost so much and show them that this city—our home—comes together in times of need.
Visit the link below to purchase your artwork or digitals and help make a difference. Every penny raised will go directly to LA Fire Department, supporting fire relief efforts and providing hope to those in need.
Thank you for standing with me, and for loving LA as much as I do.
With Gratitude xx
